All SAASST units (Planetarium, Sharjah Optical Observatories, and Research Laboratories) participated in the program with several lectures and hands-on activities. Several students from grades 9 and 10 took part in this exciting program to educate them on astronomy and encourage them to follow its path through which they could have a deeper understanding of what goes on in our universe. During the first week, the students had the opportunity to visit the planetarium to learn about the equipment and meteorite collection displayed for the public. The second week took them to the Sharjah Optical Observatory, where they learned how the telescope works and the equipment used to make an object in the sky more prominent. Lastly, during the third week, research assistants from laboratories such as the CubeSat, Radio Astronomy, Meteorite Center, High Energy Astrophysics, and Space Weather and Ionospheric, gave them special lectures to introduce them to the inner workings of the labs and allowed them to explore the labs through hands-on experience.
