Then, it went into detail about the Academy's projects, including the public outreach program, lectures and workshops, and the latest program, the Diploma in Astronomy. It also included SAASST's very own astronomical equipment displayed around the Academy grounds, such as the radio interferometer, the Lunar Impact Observatory, GNSS Station, etc. The program continued with a tour around the research department at SAASST, introducing the youth council to the CubeSat lab’s current project, SharjahSat-1, its structure, main components, and main goal when it is launched. The program continued with a brief introduction of labs such as the Meteorite Center, High Energy Astrophysics, Radio Astronomy, Space Weather & Ionospheric, and Space Artificial Intelligence by their respective research assistants and engineers, concluding the day’s events.

YahSat Youth Council Visits SAASST
The Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology (SAASST) welcomed 20 students from the YahSat Youth Council for a special program on Aug. 08, 2022. The program began with an introduction to the Academy.
