Furthermore, Prof. Hamid encouraged an open dialogue to understand how astronomy can be useful for multicultural inclusion and STEAM teaching. The round-table gathered experts, educators, and teachers, to discuss astronomy education for all the educational activities for children worldwide.

Prof. Hamid also emphasized promoting astronomy education at the professional level to help astronomers, astronomy educators, and teachers worldwide gain the skills they need to communicate about astronomy in primary and secondary schools professionally and effectively. He also talked about providing access to good resources and making available excellent and effective resources for teaching about astronomical topics internationally, under open licenses, and easy-to-find. Finally, he ended his intervention in the round-table with a discussion about promoting astronomy in curricula to support efforts to include more astronomy in national or regional curricula.
